William Hill
William Hill PLC was founded in 1934. While traditionally known for their offline bookmaking business, they have branched out into online gambling in recent years.
This includes online versions of their traditional core business as well as targeting the online casino market heavily.
In the later part of last year, William Hill entered into a joint venture with Playtech in an effort to enhance the online part of the operation.
As part of their online casino offering they provide all the regular games that one might expect. This has been on of the largest areas of growth in recent times.
There have been some hard times recently for offline traditional bookmaking but their online casino business has been doing well and has expanded greatly in the last couple of years.
In particular, the early part of 2009 has seen strong growth despite the economic downturn and it would seem that the online presence of William Hill is only set to get stronger in the years to come.
